Ediciones El Viso is a Madrid-based publishing house specializing in illustrated books on art, photography, architecture, and design. We produce everything from exhibition catalogs, guides, catalogues raisonnés, art and museum collections, photography books, fashion books, and institutional products. Since its founding in 1981, we have published more than 2,000 titles and are known for our high quality and international reach. These books are authentic objects of beauty, combining rigor, creativity, and meticulous production.
A large part of our publishing production is destined for export. We regularly collaborate with internationally renowned museums, institutions, and artists, bringing printed art beyond national borders. Our clients include The Hispanic Society of New York, The San Diego Museum of Art, the Gulbenkian Museum in Lisbon, The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Louvre Museum in Paris, and, in Spain, the Prado Museum, Patrimonio Nacional, and Casa de Alba, among others. We value our relationships with our clients and maintain ongoing contact. Our publishing house has offices in Madrid, Paris, and Mexico City, bridging cultures, languages, and worldviews. Furthermore, the titles in our catalog can often be found in Spanish, French, and English.
