The exhibition presents bindings from the Saavedra Library, a reflection of the artistic transformation between the late 19th and mid-20th centuries. It shows the evolution from modernist and art nouveau forms to the avant-garde, highlighting innovations in design, materials, and techniques. These bindings combine art and craft, achieving great aesthetic expressiveness. Although Spanish works predominate, works by French, Belgian, and English artists are also included, offering a broad view of the period. Thus, the book ceases to be merely a functional object to become a medium for artistic expression. The exhibition is on display at the Pons Foundation.
