<<Flamboyant>>. Joana Vasconcelos at the Liria Palace is an exhibition organized by the Casa de Alba Foundation and led by Joana Vasconcelos, one of the most famous contemporary artists due to the placement of her eccentric sculptures in historical and monumental installations. This exhibition, located at the Liria Palace (Madrid), will be open to the public from February 14 to July 31, 2025.

Unlike other exhibitions (Versailles, Florence, or Lisbon), this is the first time Joana Vasconcelos has installed her works in an inhabited palace, thus creating an exhibition dialogue between her creations and those that decorate the Liria Palace. Consequently, a conversation is created between the art of the past, such as Velázquez, Goya, and Titian, and the contemporary art of which the artist champions. For this reason, this catalog not only demonstrates the artistic symbiosis of both worlds, but also the relationship between the promoter, the Duke of Alba, and his host, Joana Vasconcelos.
