Growing Thoughts. A Garden in Andalusia

In this book, with numerous full-page reproductions and carefully edited, Carlos March, entrepreneur and passionate about nature, reviews the history of his garden in Altarejos, nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Morena, north of the province of Seville. Surrounded by wild mountain range, between rocky and shale, between rockrose and holm oaks, the spectacular garden of Altarejos, with three hundred varieties of roses and more than four hundred varieties of trees, shrubs and carpets is, after thirty-five years of careful work, an example of balance and respectful cohesion with the environment.

The history of creation, development and constant care of this garden, with its achievements, its successes and its mistakes, is also, to a large extent, the author's own story as a lover of nature, gardening, hunting and photography.
