The set of pieces of Chinese porcelain gathered by Álvaro Conde forms what is considered one of the best private collections at an international level. This publication includes texts by great specialists on this subject: an introduction to the burden of Becky Mcquarie, auction house Christie's, a main essay of the position of specialist in porcelain china, William Sargent, and an essay about relationships trade between China and New Spain by María Bonta de la Pezuela.
In this book, one hundred and twenty master pieces of the collection are compilled in four preceding chapters by eight texts. Among them are tibores, animal figures, dishes and crockery. Each work is reproduced in full color and documented with a technical sheet and a study by William Sargent.
