Colección Alicia Koplowitz-Grupo Omega Capital

The Alicia Koplowitz Collection – Grupo Omega Capital is unquestionably one of the best private collections in Spain. Made up of works that span the entire history of Western art, from the classical to the contemporary periods, the collection is characterised by its unequivocal autobiographical feel, in which the female universe comes to the fore. It is also noteworthy for set of works from the 18th and 20th centuries, historical centuries in the process of the modernisation of art.

This catalogue covers the exhibition that the Alicia Koplowitz Collection – Grupo Omega Capital is presenting, which has never before been seen in Spain. Held at the Fine Arts Museum of Bilbao from July to October 2017, it brings together a selection of around 90 works by great artists the likes of Zurbarán, Pantoja de la Cruz, Goya, Canaletto, Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec, Picasso, Tàpies, Bacon, Calder and Louise Bourgeois, among others.
