The Library of the National Prado Museum has experienced an important development, one of the most important has been the growth of its bibliographic collection, for which it has been essential the acquisition of several private libraries, especially that of the lawyer and art historian José Maria Cervelló in 2003. The result has been the creation of an ancient collection of about four thousand five hundred volumes, notable for its specialization in the history of art and the rarity of some of its specimens. His recent training makes it a little known set even among specialists. This exhibition aims to show, therefore, the variety and importance of the Prado Library through a representative set of forty volumes.
